Elaine
Medosch...
is president and owner of EM Enterprises, a Long Beach,
Calif., public relations company. She was city editor for a
Long Beach newspaper for 15 years and has both a bachelor's
degree from Tulane University and a juris doctorate from
Western State University, College of Law. She has written
two novels and a collection of short stories under the
pseudonym Zelda Kelley. She has published stories in
literary journals — "Coaxing Sculpture" in Aethlon,
2003 and "Autoerotica" (2005) and "The Light
Offshore" (2006) in the Southlander. Additionally, she
was awarded an Honorable Mention in the Spring 2003 edition
of Peridot Books Literary Journal. She lives in Long Beach,
Calif. |

Barbara
Fryer...
of Huntington Beach, Calif., is a long time journalist and
college instructor, who has conducted a love affair with
great, and not so great, literature her entire life. A
graduate of Temple University in Philadelphia, she has
written dozens of short stories, several of which have been
collected in anthologies. She is also the author of a number
of novels. |

Chris Eyre...
of Orange, Calif., earned degrees in Biological and Computer
Sciences at the University of California, Irvine, and has
worked in the software industry mostly as a developer,
though sometimes as a manager, and as a technical support
engineer. He's taught software classes for the UC Irvine and
Cal State Fullerton Extension programs. He attended creative
writing classes for several years, including Elizabeth's
private class, and took a one year sabbatical to write a
novel that was marketed by a professional agent, but never
published. He is not related to the Native American
filmmaker of the same name, nor to Richard Eyre, the
distinguished British filmmaker. |

Peggy Hesketh...
teaches English and comparative literature at Chapman
University and the University of California, Irvine.
Prior to her current interest in English literature and
novel writing, Hesketh was a reporter for The Los Angeles
Times, The Orange County Register and the
Tustin Weekly. She also served as managing editor of the
Orange County Business Journal and freelances for
Orange Coast magazine. She resides in Anaheim, Calif. |

Sheila
Silver...
brings to the Elizabeth George Foundation more than 25 years
as an English Literature teacher. She has taught drama and
English at the high school level, and in teacher education
programs at the collegiate levels.
Sheila has also been a curriculum specialist, honored
by the California Department of Education for excellence in
teaching. She was selected as one of the top five teachers
in education in 1997 and as the Regional Theatre Educator of
the Year in 2002 by the National Endowment for the
Humanities.
With an MA degree in theatre arts, extensive
credentials as an arts educator, and leadership experience
in staff development and management, Sheila brings her
experiences as an educator and in non-profit communities to
the board. She resides in Torrance, Calif. |
